I'm new to blogging, so here's a little bit about me.
My name is Emily, though I prefer Em. I'm a proud Navy veteran and a devoted single mother to a wonderful three-year-old. Currently, I'm a stay-at-home mom, focusing on my education until I can begin an internship.
My military service provided me with some experience in Information Technology, specifically in cybersecurity. However, it was not sufficient for a civilian career, which led me back to school to pursue a degree in Cyber and Data Security Technology. I'm just getting started on my path to a career in something similar to Information Technology. Through the course I am taking, I aim to enhance my understanding of programming languages through this course, which I believe will be instrumental in securing an internship. My goal is to work in ethical hacking or a related field. I'm committed to completing my education swiftly to rejoin the workforce. I'm eager to see what opportunities this course presents. I'm just beginning to dip my toes back into the cyber world, and I realize how much it has changed in just three years. I am looking forward to all of the opportunities that will come to me through my limited experience and courses such as the one I am taking now.
